Alcorn State University Foundation, Inc. celebrates 50 Years of impact and excellence

The Alcorn State University Foundation will kick off its 50th anniversary with a celebration to support students and the Alcorn community. 

Its celebration will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, April 12, at the Vicksburg Convention Center. Attire for the event is business formal.

The fundraising goal for this event is $300,000, which will be used for student scholarships, faculty research, and facility improvements at Alcorn.

Since its founding in 1973, the Foundation has actively supported the mission of Alcorn State University to impact the lives of students.

A highlight of the evening will be entertainment by The Unfazed Band & Show and DJ George Chuck.

This event is open to the public. Tickets are $125 and can be purchased at www.alcorn.edu/foundation/50th . Sponsorships are also available.
