Chesapeake- Virginia Beach Delta Foundation to hold 2nd Annual “Sip for Scholarships” Fundraiser

Chesapeake, Va.—Selected Hampton Roads students will benefit from proceeds raised by the 2nd Annual Sip for Scholarships fundraiser to be presented by the Chesapeake-Virginia Beach Delta Foundation (CVBDF) on Friday, May 19, from 6:30-8:30 p.m. at The Mermaid WineryTasting Room located at 330 W.
22nd Street, Unit 105, in Norfolk. Tickets, which cost $35, include a cash barand heavy hors d’oeuvres. A silentauction, featuring a variety of thematic items, will also be a part of the event. “We are dedicated as an organization to educating,enriching and empowering our community,” said Rhonda Corprew, Chair of theCVBDF Board. “This fundraiser will helpus raise the funds necessary to support one of our education-related initiatives.” The Foundation plans to award three $750 scholarships in June to selected Hampton Roads students.
