FOOD LION MEN’S PLAYER OF THE WEEK
#0 Khyree Temple, Livingstone 
(Jr., Guard-West Philadelphia, PA )
Khyree’s big week helped Livingstone to a 1-1 record. In the narrow defeat to Claflin, he compiled 15 points and 14 rebounds for yet another double-double. He followed that up with 18 points and 9 rebounds in the win over Shaw.

#0 Bryson Dennis, Claflin 
(Sr., Guard – Snellville, Georgia)

Bryson has been one of the top defensive players for the Panthers this week. He totaled five steals this week, including three at Livingstone and two at Winston-Salem State. He also added seven total rebounds for the week. 
FOOD LION MEN’S ROOKIE OF THE WEEK

#4 Travon Cooper, Bluefield State

(Fr., Guard- Detroit, MI)  

Travon Cooper had 26 points, 6 steals and 4 assist in the two games this week on 2/5/24 and 2/10/24.
FOOD LION WOMEN’S PLAYER OF THE WEEK
#3 Anii Harris, Bowie State 
(Jr., Guard -Ellicott City, MD )
Harris scored her 1,000th career point this week against Virginia State, finishing with a combined 33 points for the week. She recorded a week-high 21 points to go along with five rebounds and two steals against ECSU. The junior guard was 9-of-14 from the free throw line against the Lady Vikings. She had led the CIAA in scoring this season (19.5 ppg).
FOOD LION WOMEN’S DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
#1 Aniylah Bryant, Fayetteville State
(Sr., Guard- Havelock, N.C.)
In the first game of the week against Concord University, Shalance started strong and demonstrated her dominance on the court. She impressively secured 16 rebounds, establishing her presence in the paint. Additionally, she contributed 12 points and a blocked shot, showcasing her offensive capabilities and defensive prowess.

Continuing her remarkable form, Shalance continued to excel in our game against Virginia Union. She grabbed an astonishing 18 rebounds, solidifying her position as a crucial asset to our team’s success. Moreover, she displayed her offensive skills by scoring 10 points flawlessly, making all six free throw attempts. Furthermore, she added to her impressive performance with one block, one steal, and one assist, demonstrating her versatility and ability to contribute in multiple facets of the game.
FOOD LION WOMEN’S ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
#22 Nielle Reaves, Livingstone 
(Fr., Guard- New Haven, CT)
Nielle had her best week of the season this last week. In the win over Shaw, she netted 20 points and 2 rebounds in under 20 minutes of playing time. She also hit 2 clutch threes in OT to help secure the win.
