CIAA Announces Men’s & Women’s Indoor Track & Field Weekly Honors

FOOD LION MEN’S TRACK ATHLETE OF THE WEEK
Terrell Robinson, St. Augustine’s
(Fr. – Winston-Salem, NC)Freshman Terrell Robinson earned two first-place finishes at the VCU Invitational last weekend. The talented student-athlete from Winston-Salem posted a winning time of 6.74 in the 60m final and a 21.90 time in the 200m.
FOOD LION MEN’S FIELD ATHLETE OF THE WEEK
Atrell Williams, Virginia State
(So. – Chesapeake, VA) 
In Virginia State’s first indoor meet of the season, Atrell Williams delivered with a shot put toss covering 14.96 meters, which placed the sophomore from Chesapeake, VA second of 26 competitors at the VCU Invitational.

FOOD LION WOMEN’S TRACK ATHLETE OF THE WEEK
Emoni Coleman, Virginia State
(So. – Atlanta, GA)
At the VCU Invitational, Emoni Coleman placed fifth in the mile run with a time of 5:43.17. The sophomore from Atlanta, GA gave the Trojans their only top-5 finish, but it was one of seven top-10 finishes in Virginia State’s first indoor meet of the season.

FOOD LION WOMEN’S FIELD ATHLETE OF THE WEEK
Shakila Campbell, Bowie State
(Fr. – Windsor, CT)
Shakila Campbell earned a mark of 10.48m in the triple jump for seventh overall at the VCU Invitational. The freshman from Windsor, CT secured one of two top-10 finishes for the Bulldogs last weekend.
