Dr. Laura Colson Elected To Serve On TRACS Accreditation Commission at Bennett College

Bennett College is pleased to announce that Dr. Laura Colson, Vice President for Academic Affairs & Student Experience at Bennett College, has been elected to serve on the TRACS Accreditation Commission for a three-year term, beginning July 1, 2023, and ending June 30, 2026.
As a member of the TRACS Accreditation Commission, Colson will assist in carrying out accreditation activities and actions. The TRACS Accreditation Commission formulates and implements all policies, procedures, and standards utilized in the evaluation and accreditation processes.
As chief academic officer at Bennett College, Colson provides academic vision and strategic planning that fosters active, engaged, and distinctive learning experiences for women of color who aspire to leadership in their fields, social justice, civil rights, and social mobility. She is skilled at building alliances with external partners that support student academic success outcomes and enhance the student experience with internships, experiential programs, and student employment.
