We also make sure that we spotlight the current six (6) HBCU law schools as potential options to consider in making choices about where to attend. In addition, we emphasize the importance of networking, relationship building, and mentoring, as well as uplifting and giving back to our communities and creating our own Black-owned businesses once armed with legal training. This event was designed so that your students would have a welcoming and affirming space to convene in order to get access to the critical, game-changing information, resources, tools, and connections necessary for their professional legal education and career success – from people who truly understand and value the HBCU experience and community. Finally, we have negotiated a special double room rate of only $99.99 plus tax at the Days Inn by Wyndham Washington, DC/Connecticut Avenue located literally a couple of minutes and footsteps away from our host venues which are down the street from each other.
