Jackson State is off to one of its best seasons since 1983. On October 29, Jackson State became the first HBCU to host a College Game Day. One thing College Game Day is famous for having excellent signs, and they didn’t disappoint with two characters. One sign said, “Hey, Florida State!!!! Is this enough “EXPOSURE” for Travis Hunter??? ( I know you’re watching)”. A lady put in her vote for the Heisman trophy winner with the sign that said: “Give The Heisman 2 Shedeur.”

The Tigers dominated Southern in an old fashion beating 36-0. Improving their record to 8-0 and 5-0 in the conference. Shedeur led the Tiger’s offense with one touchdown through the air and two rushing touchdowns. Sy’veon Wilkerson added another rushing touchdown and receiving too. Jackson State will continue to pursue its perfect season this Saturday, November 5, against the 4-4 Texas Southern University.
