A+ Residential Program

 An academically engaging residential summer program designed for 8th to 12th graders seeking an adventurous and exciting summer experience. The program is sponsored by the   Hampton University Honors College.

The Barney E. Smart Summer High School Band Camp & Director’s Clinic High School Band Members & Band Directors

 The camp offers three major ensembles in which you students may participate, marching band, symphonic band and jazz band.

Hampton University Music Enrichment Program (HUM)

 Students will study fundamentals of music (computer assisted) and receive lessons on instruments including piano, strings, percussion, guitar, woodwinds, brass, recorder and voice.

Hampton University Young Diplomats Program

 Students explore the people, culture and issues represented in one of our country’s biggest competitors, China.

Kiddie Kollege / Kiddie Kamp

 Morning academic experiences include Math, Computers, English Arts, Reading, Spanish, and Sign Language. Afternoon Camp includes swim instruction, field sports, games and dance.

RIDERS Program Horseback Riding Camp

 This day camp uses friendly, trained horses to make reading fun and enjoyable. Campers will gain knowledge of all types of horses, riding equipment, and terminology.

Crest Undergraduate Research Experience (CURE)

 This 8-week session provides engaging research in atmospheric sciences and space sciences using observations from NASA spacecraft and ground-based measurements from optical instrumentation, with a goal of understanding our home planet, Earth.
