Lincoln Announces 2023 Football Schedule; Season Tickets Now on Sale!

JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. – Six home games and five road trips highlight the 2023 Lincoln football schedule, released on Monday (May 1).

Season tickets and individual tickets are available now at www.lubluetigers.com/tickets. Season ticket plans cost $75 and include parking for all six of Lincoln’s home football games this fall. Single tickets, meanwhile, cost $15 for Homecoming and $10 for each of the other five contests, and do not include parking.

The Blue Tigers kick off 2023 on the road on the night of Thursday, Aug. 31, as LU heads to Emporia, Kan. to play Emporia State. Lincoln opens its home slate on Saturday, Sept. 9 by hosting Missouri Western on LU’s Faculty and Staff Appreciation Night. The Blue Tigers are back at home the following Saturday, Sept. 16, to host Washburn on HBCU Night, which will kick off Lincoln’s HBCU Week.

Lincoln returns to the road to play Northwest Missouri on Sept. 23 in Maryville, Mo., and Fort Hays State on Sept. 30 in Hays, Kan. The annual Homecoming game is set for Saturday, Oct. 7, as Lincoln hosts Northeastern State. The Blue Tigers then travel to Edmond, Okla. to take on Central Oklahoma on Oct. 14 before hosting Missouri Southern on Oct. 21 in Lincoln’s annual Think Pink Game.

On Thursday, Oct. 26, the Blue Tigers will host a 6:00 p.m. CST game against Eastern New Mexico. Lincoln then closes its road slate on Nov. 4 by visiting Kearney, Neb. to play Nebraska Kearney.

The Blue Tigers finish out the 2023 campaign on Saturday, Nov. 11 by hosting Central Missouri. That contest will be LU’s Senior Day and, as it falls on Veteran’s Day, will also be Lincoln’s Military Appreciation Game.

All 11 games will be non-conference contests for Lincoln, which is joining the Great Lakes Valley Conference starting in fall 2024. All six home games will be played at Dwight T. Reed Stadium in Jefferson City. Dates and times are subject to change.
