LINCOLN UNIVERSITY SURPASSES ANNUAL FUND CAMPAIGN GOAL

Jefferson City, MO- The Lincoln University “We Are Lincoln” Annual Fund Campaign has exceeded its 2019-20 fiscal year goal. The comprehensive campaign started on July 1, 2019, with an original goal of $1.2 million. The University reached the initial goal in December, and the momentum of the campaign prompted setting and reaching new goals moving into and through 2020.
Alumni, friends, and community partnerships assisted in surpassing the goal, raising a historic amount of $2,244,272.50. The comprehensive campaign supports student success through a variety of funds. Gifts and donations to the “We Are Lincoln” Annual Fund Campaign include cash and in-kind gifts that benefit the University immediately, as well as pledged, endowment, and estate gifts that will benefit LU in the future.
“In the midst of so much happening in our world, we are overwhelmed with the support of our Annual Fund Campaign. These gifts brought us hope- hope for stability in these uncertain times; hope for our future as we navigate through today; and, most importantly, hope for our students who so desperately need tangible proof that things will be okay. We are grateful for every donor who has helped us continue the great legacy of Lincoln University,” shared President Jerald Jones Woolfolk.
