Lockheed Martin Day at Tuskegee University Thursday, Sept. 19, 2019 9:45 a.m., 11:00 a.m. (central time)

What:
Tuskegee University will host Lockheed Martin for a day focused on careers in aerospace and defense on Thursday, September 19.

Leadership from Tuskegee University and Lockheed Martin will celebrate their longstanding partnership connecting students in the STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) fields to careers and internships with a technology demonstration and recruitment day.

Kicking off the festivities, the Alabama Army National Guard will land a UH-60M Sikorsky BLACK HAWK™ helicopter in the middle of campus at Logan Hall. Students will have an opportunity to test their physical fitness and gaming skills with the National Guard outdoors. Indoor activities include an interactive F-35 Cockpit Simulator and Virtual Reality (VR) “Plane Builder” experience for students.
