Magic City Innovation District – Little Haiti to Make Announcement on New Scholarship Fund for Florida Memorial University Students

Friday, March 12, 2021 (Miami Gardens, Florida) —Florida Memorial University (FMU) and Magic City
Innovation District® – Little Haiti (MCID) partners will hold a press conference with local elected officials
to announce the creation of an MCID-endowed scholarship fund for FMU students. The press conference
is scheduled for Monday, March 15, at 10 a.m. at the FMU Health and Wellness Center. MCID is an innovation district focused on technology, sustainability, health and wellness and art and culture. The district is revitalizing the Little Haiti and Little River neighborhoods to create a world-class destination. It will provide Miami a walkable, campus-like neighborhood where individuals from all demographic backgrounds can enjoy a quality life and re-write history on how communities live, work, play, and learn together. MCID will serve as a new model for future innovation districts and real estate development worldwide.
