Shaw Divinity, Raleigh Interdenominational Ministerial Alliance Call All Clergy to Join Community of Faith Prayer Walk

Raleigh, NC – (Wednesday, June 3, 2020)

WHO:       
Shaw University Divinity School and the Raleigh Interdenominational Ministerial Alliance (RIMA) are calling all clergy and people of faith to join in a show of unity and commitment to social justice 

WHAT:
Community of Faith Prayer Walk in honor of George Floyd and all those who have lost their lives in senseless acts of violence across America.

WHEN:
Saturday, June 6, 2020, 4:30 – 6:30 pm

WHERE:
Assemble at Duke Energy Center for The Performing Arts, 2 E. South St., at 4:30 pm
Walk to Capitol Building for rally & prayer, 5:00 – 6:30 pm.

WHY:       
The faith community is calling on all people of good conscience to intercede for racial and social justice. Remember the words of Dr. King, “In the end, we will remember not the words of our enemies, but the silence of our friends.”
