The application for the 2022 DoN HBCU/MI – Navy Medicine Summer Internship is open! The deadline to apply is March 1st

The DoN HBCU/MI – Navy Medicine Summer Internship is an in-person experience for rising HBCU/MI sophomores and juniors interested in Naval careers as physicians, nurses, dentists and biomedical technicians/researchers supporting the Bureau of Medicine and Surgery (BUMED).  As participants in the program, students will:

· expand awareness of opportunities in Navy Medicine

· learn about life as a Navy Medical Corps Officer

· get valuable training in professional resume writing

· gain an edge when applying for Navy scholarships and careers

The program will run June 6th – July 8th in Bethesda, MD.  To be eligible for the internship, students must be U.S. citizens, currently enrolled as either a rising sophomore or junior at an accredited four-year HBCU/MI, have a minimum GPA of 3.3, and major in either of the following:

· Pre-Medical

· Pre-Dental

· Pre-Nursing

· Biology

· Engineering
