Three BSU Leaders Listed among State’s Top 100 Women

The Daily Record Recognizes Leadership, Service and Mentoring
(BOWIE, Md.) – Bowie State University President Aminta Breaux, Dr. Jaqueline Hill, chair of the nursing department and Johnetta Hardy, executive director of the Entrepreneurship Innovation Center, have been named as honorees in the 2024 Maryland’s Top 100 Women by The Daily Record.
Each year the newspaper recognizes women in Maryland who are making a difference through their leadership, community service and mentoring.

“It’s a privilege to be included in the 2024 list of Maryland’s Top 100 Women,” said President Breaux. “This year is extraordinary because three women from Bowie State will be honored by the publication which is a first for the university.”
Past Top 100 Women, business leaders and The Daily Record staff select the honorees. Maryland’s Top 100 Women has recognized the outstanding achievements and accomplishments by women in a variety of professions in corporate and non-profit sectors for the past 28 years
A reception and awards celebration will be held on May 6, at 4:00 p.m. at the Lyric Baltimore for President Breaux, Dr. Hill, Johnetta Hardy and the other women from across the state who are this year’s honorees.
Winners will be profiled in a special magazine that will be inserted into the May 7 issue of The Daily Record and available online at TheDailyRecord.com.
