Delaware State to face No. 1 Penn St. in first round of the 2024 NCAA Volleyball Tournament
NORFOLK, Va. – The bracket has been set and the Hornets of Delaware State will travel to University Park, Pa. to face top-ranked Penn State in the first round of the 2024 NCAA Volleyball Championship Tournament.
Delaware State (17-13) will play on Friday, Dec. 6, at 7:30 p.m. against the hosting Nittany Lions of Penn State (29-2), the top-ranked team in the nation by the AVCA. The game will be broadcast on ESPN+.
The winner of the match will face the winner of the No. 8 UNC vs. Yale matchup, which begins at 5 p.m. in University Park, Pa.
Friday’s match will be the second trip to the NCAA Tournament for the Hornets in program history. DSU last made a showing in 2022 after winning their second MEAC volleyball title.
