Deleon Named SWAC Pitcher Of The Week

The Southwestern Athletic Conference has tabbed Texas Southern’s Abraham Deleon for SWAC Baseball Weekly Honors after outstanding performance against Prairie View A&M this past Friday.

A native of Houston, Deleon silenced the PVAMU offense with 10 strikeouts and only allowed two hits over seven innings. The Tigers defeated Prairie View A&M 8-4 as Deleon picked up the win. Deleon ranks third in the SWAC with 51 strikeouts and fifth in ERA.

Deleon and TSU are back in action on Thursday at Grambling State.
