Jackson State University’s COVID-19 Mitigation Town Hall Will Continue To Unleash The Truth To Build Confidence In Vaccines

Although about 42 percent of African Americans in Mississippi are now fully vaccinated, Jackson State University says more work still needs to be done. The College of Health Sciences and its CEPH-accredited School of Public Health are continuing their COVID-19 Mitigation efforts in hopes of encouraging the unmotivated to get vaccinated.
Medical professionals and university personnel will convene at 6:30 p.m. TONIGHT to discuss the continued risks and the devastation caused by COVID-19 and its variants. The toll remains alarming.
On Monday, the Mississippi State Department of Health reported 770 more cases, with 22 deaths and 42 ongoing outbreaks in long-term care facilities.
