Voorhees University Hosts Workshop on AI and Its impact on Society

Denmark, S.C. — Voorhees University will host its inaugural “Addressing AI in the 21st Century” free 2 day virtual workshop on June 25-26, 2025, bringing together thought leaders, educators, administrators and students to explore the vast opportunities and emerging challenges of artificial intelligence in education.

Led by distinguished scholars Dr. Cheryl Swanier and Dr. Cheryl Seals, the workshop will offer hands-on engagement with emerging AI tools, critical discussions on ethical use, and strategies to integrate AI in ways that enhance—not replace—academic integrity and instruction.
